The Misk Student Activity Club at the Faculty of Science and Ats in Khamis Mushit in cooperation with the Student Affairs Deanship Agency held a course on how to write technical documents presented by Ms. Noura Al-Shahrani.
The course contained several topics, the most important of which was the most important types of technical documents, such as project reports, scientific research, master's and doctoral proposals and README files.
The most important steps in each of them are detailed, with the difference of steps by document type and the type of readers.
She also explained the most important points to be aware of during the writing of a technical document or technical research, and how to write references in several famous ways such as Harvard, APA, IEEE, and then talked about the most prominent search sites such as the Saudi Digital Library or google scholar. She also talked about how to write an automatic table, and how to number pages in Roman and Arabic numerals.
