The College of Applied Sciences in Khamis Mushait seeks, through its various academic programs, to build a generation equipped with authentic knowledge, possessing modern tools of knowledge, capable of effectively contributing to the development of the country and serving the community.

It also aims to enhance the efficiency of its faculty members by enabling them to combine scientific competence with modern methods, and by elevating their skills in scientific research and community service, considering them as the most important element in a good higher education system.

Tasks

1. Supervising the implementation of regulations and executive rules related to the academic regulations and examinations for university students.
2. Supervising units under educational affairs.
3. Supervising the preparation of academic schedules in academic departments and coordinating with other colleges in collaboration with the Deanship of Admission and Registration and the scheduling committee.
4. Supervising the conduct of final exams and forming their committees, in coordination with academic departments and the Deanship of Admission and Registration.
5. Supervising the Student Affairs Committee, extracurricular activities committees, student counseling committee, and examinations committee.
6. Supervising the work of the laboratories, facilities, and educational services committee.
7. Supervising requests for deferment, withdrawal from studies, as well as add-drop processes for university students according to relevant regulations and decisions.
8. Supervising the activities of the college orientation week.
9. Coordinating with college units in relevant areas.
10. Supervising financial affairs and budgets allocated by the agency and its programs in accordance with regulations and rules.
11. Performing the duties of the college council secretary.
12. Implementing tasks assigned by the Dean of the college.
