Overview
It has been approved to establish the college of Science and Arts of King Khalid University - campus ( 1 ) in Khamis Mushayt under the letter of the Minister of Higher Education No. *10/05/1429*, in 10/07/1430 AH.
In 1432 AH / 1433 AH, College of Education -which was established in 1418- has been changed into College of Science and Arts in Khamis Mushayt, campus (2) which Arabic language and Islamic studies programs are available in.
In 1435 | 1436 the two colleges (1) and (2) were combined under one college and named the College of Science and Arts in Khamis Mushayt.
In 1445 | 2023, the comprehensive academic restructuring of the university was approved by the decision of His Excellency the President of the University, No. *2/38/22824*, and in 19/03/1445, under the Council of Universities Affairs’ decision No. *2/16/45*. It has changed the name of the college from “The College of Science and Arts in Khamis Mushayt” to “The Applied College in Khamis Mushayt”
The college includes 8 buildings, divided between classrooms and labs . Each building includes 6 to 18 classrooms equipped with the latest tools and means to ensure the quality of the educational process. All buildings were provided with high quality wireless internet access to serve students In all fields.
The college includes 3 cafeterias offering a wide variety of snacks and types of food according to the needs and desires of the students also has a public library that contains about 1500 books in various disciplines.

This is achieved by qualifying national cadres with high efficiency and scientific capabilities to meet societal needs, elevate local production quality with continuous output, and equip graduates with carefully studied parallel skills, teaching them ethical responsibility in various professions.Finally, we pray to Almighty Allah to guide us to carry out our responsibilities and serve our country to the fullest, and may Allah's blessings and peace be upon our Prophet.
