Languages Ambassadors
The College of Arts and Sciences in Khamis Mushait, represented by the English Language Department, in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, organized the cultural program: Languages Ambassadors
The program aimed to enhance cultural communication and civilizational exchange as a special event was organized by hosting ambassadors from seven countries, where we reviewed different aspects of culture, art, and traditions for each of: Turkey, Italy, India, South Korea, Japan, Mexico, and Morocco. This event came to provide an opportunity to get to know closely the civilizational and cultural diversity that characterizes these countries, which enhances the spirit of openness and understanding between people.
During this program, each ambassador had the opportunity to present a cultural show that reflects the identity of her country, including visual displays, traditional costumes, and heritage arts. Open dialogue sessions were organized with the ambassadors to answer the audience's questions and interact with their various interests.
The program aims to continue organizing similar events that host new cultures and open broader horizons for dialogue and cooperation between peoples.
The program was attended by about 100 female students and faculty members and was well received by all.
