The Islamic Studies program aims to academically and culturally prepare students. Through offering a variety of courses, the program assists students in acquiring a range of scientific knowledge and solidifying principles of Islamic Sharia’. It also aims to shape committed and distinguished individuals who deeply and comprehensively understand the Holy Quran, the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad, and the derived Islamic legal rulings.
To be a leading department in providing Islamic knowledge to society and achieving practical scientific quality to build qualified individuals who are knowledgeable in Sharia’, capable of integrating constants with contemporary developments.
To reinforce Islamic identity, values, and moderation in thought and handling contemporary issues.
To prepare distinguished graduates in educating society about Sharia’ culture, spreading knowledge, and conducting scientific research.
1. Raise awareness of correct Islamic concepts.
2. Instill doctrinal and jurisprudential behavior foundations in department students.
3. Prepare a cadre of female teachers specialized in Islamic sciences to contribute to the dissemination of correct Islamic thought.
4. Strengthen relationships between students and faculty to develop positive personalities capable of contributing effectively.
5. Provide opportunities for students to pursue postgraduate studies (Master's and Ph.D.) at a distinguished research level.
6. Develop curriculum to enhance students' skills and enable them to fulfill their educational and advocacy roles.
