Musk Club, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, organized the classic play ('King Lear') as part of the theater festival program. This play belongs to English literature by the writer William Shakespeare and was held on Sunday, Jumada l 25, 1445 H, at 10 AM in the college theater. The roles were performed by a group of students from the English Language Department with the aim of gaining diverse acting and performance techniques, alongside an Arabic translation of the play presented by the students. The play included various vocal and musical performances, concluding with two poems in English and Arabic presented by the English Language Department activity supervisor, Ms. Rahma Abdul Rahim. The event also featured the distribution of impactful quotes by William Shakespeare, crossword puzzles, and voting for the best character, as well as draws for entry tickets. The play aimed to educate students about theatrical art and provide a practical lesson in theatrical performance encompassing acting, lighting, appropriate costumes, dialogue, and direction.
