Introduction to AI and its Applications
The Applied College in Khamis Mushait, represented by the Digital Transformation Unit in collaboration with the General Administration of Human Resources, conducted a training course titled "Introduction to AI and its Applications," presented by Dr. Rasha Mamon Mohammed on Tuesday, on the 9th of Ramadan, 1445 H.
The course began with an introduction to AI and its significance as a branch of computer science concerned with building systems capable of performing tasks that typically require human intelligence. Dr. Rasha then provided a detailed explanation of the classifications of AI based on functions, tasks, capabilities, and implementation methods.
Furthermore, she discussed learning methods in artificial intelligence, which are categorized into three types: machine learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning. Dr. Rasha also highlighted the most used programming languages in AI, including Python, R, and Java, elucidating the factors for selecting the appropriate language for programming.
Towards the end of the course, Dr. Rasha elaborated on the key applications of AI supported by examples and a case study in the field of AI.
