Campaign to spread the psychological awareness
The college of Science and Arts in Khamis Mushait, represented by the Academic Guidance Unit at the College has launched a campaign to spread the psychological awareness as a ain objective for the unit programs during this semester at the College Theater by a speech delivered by Dr.Sabah Zahar, in which she asserted the importance of psychological awareness for the person , and the importance of early diagnosis of cases. She focuses on the differences between spiritual and psychological and also urged not to shy away because of psychological illness . She also mentioned a number of psychological disorders , their symptoms and methods of diagnosis and treatment, such as: social phobia. Depression. Anxiety. Obsessive-compulsive disorder. Schizophrenia and others.
The unit also orgenized an integrated corner containing educational brochures, leaflets and clips about psychosocial diseases. It is noteworthy that 200 students approximately benefited from this campaign.
