University Launches "Artificial Intelligence in Education" Hackathon, in Partnership with "SDAIA"

Under the patronage of His Excellency King Khalid University President, Prof. Faleh bin Rajallah Al-Solami, King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of E-Learning, in partnership with the Saudi Data & AI Authority “SDAIA”, is to launch, next Monday, the Artificial Intelligence Hackathon in Education (Eduthon), which focuses on exploring innovative solutions for the education sector using digital platforms.

The Dean of the Deanship of E-Learning at the University, Dr. Adel bin Ibrahim Qahmash, explained that the hackathon aims to attract participants from diverse backgrounds, including teachers, students, technologists, designers, and entrepreneurs, to collaborate and develop practical solutions that can be implemented in the real world.

Qahmash added that the hackathon also seeks to promote innovation in education and create meaningful and impactful solutions to address challenges facing the sector. Throughout the hackathon, participants will have the opportunity to learn from experts in the field, connect with other professionals, and utilize the principles of design thinking to develop innovative and effective solutions.
