
Psychological Adjustment
As part of the college’s commitment to students’ mental health and the development of their personal and social skills, the Applied College Club in Khamis Mushait, in collaboration with the Female Students Affairs Agency, organized a program titled “Psychological Adjustment” on Wednesday, February 5, 2025.
The program aimed to:
1. Raise awareness about psychological adjustment and its role in academic and social success.
2. Provide effective strategies for stress management and coping with daily challenges.
3. Promote positive thinking and problem-solving skills.
4. Create a supportive space for discussion and experience-sharing among students.
The event included:
- An introductory lecture by Dr. Asma Madshoush on the concept and importance of psychological adjustment.
- An interactive workshop addressing university life challenges and coping methods.
- A discussion session where students shared personal experiences.
- Recreational and mindfulness activities, such as relaxation and positive thinking exercises.
Over 100 students, faculty, and staff attended. The strong participation and interaction enriched the event and highlighted the importance of psychological balance for personal and academic success.
