Data Analysis using Power BI
The Applied College in Khamis Mushait, represented by the Digital Transformation Unit in collaboration with the General Administration of Human Resources, organized a training course titled "Data Analysis using Power BI," presented by Dr. Randa Mohammed on Tuesday, on 14th of Shawwal, 1445 H.
Dr. Randa began the session with an introduction to the concept of business intelligence and its close relationship with data analysis in terms of decision-making processes. Following this, she provided a detailed explanation of the significance of the "Power BI" program, which belongs to the suite of statistical software offered by Microsoft. It includes a set of statistical analysis tools that allow for easy data manipulation and the presentation of results in attractive and interactive visualizations.
Furthermore, Dr. Randa highlighted the main sources for obtaining data, followed by a comparison between the Excel program and Power BI in terms of ease of use and obtaining results.
Towards the end of the course, Dr. Randa discussed the usage of the program, starting from the installation process on both smart devices and desktops. She also explained the application interface and introduced the icons and commands included in the program.
