The Power of Words
The English Language Department organized in cooperation with the Vice Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Student Affairs An educational program in the has organised a program entitled “The Power of Words” on Tuesday, 8/24/1445, in the college theater. The program included:
1- Recitation of the Holy Qur’an and translation of verses.
2- An opening statement
3- Video (the power of words, a girl changed a blind man’s day)
4- Sketch (the fruit of a kind word)
Two students portrayed it as two sellers. One sells honey, but she is not sweetly talking and the other sells vinegar, but she is a sweet talker. The vinegar seller sells everything she has because of the sweetness of her tongue, while all the honey remains.

The scene focuses on the saying (I sell vinegar with a honey like tongue, and you sell honey with vinegar like tongue

A number of female students and faculty members attended the program, and they expressed their admiration. The program aimed to develop the students’ English language skills through recitation, acting, and storytelling.
