The College of Science and Arts Club in Khamis Mushait, in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs for Female Students, organized a cultural visit to Al-Raqadi Museum in Abha under the title "Our Tradition is Alive" on Monday morning, 13/3/1446H, at 9:30 AM.

The visit began with a welcome to the students and administrative staff. The students then performed a patriotic operetta, followed by a diverse quiz on popular heritage. This was followed by a guided tour of the museum, which highlighted the importance of museums in providing visitors with richer, more varied information through engaging and modern exhibit presentations. During the tour, they explored different sections, traditional costumes from various regions of the Kingdom, ancient artifacts, rare treasures, masterpieces of sculptures and paintings, and all aspects of heritage.

The museum featured both scientific and artistic works, along with historical information. The activity supervisor also engaged in discussions with the students about the topic.

The students gained valuable insights into some of our cultural and historical heritage and learned about the real-life patterns of life experienced by our ancestors. Afterward, everyone enjoyed a breakfast of traditional foods and Arabic coffee.

At the end of the visit, a bouquet of flowers and a certificate of appreciation were presented to the museum owner in gratitude for their warm reception and informative introduction to the museum.
