Intensive English Program 1439/40 AH

Body: 

Per the directives of the University Rector, the Vice Presidency for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research will hold an Intensive English Language Program. It will span three months in duration and will run from 01:00 pm to 03:00 pm. 

  • Male classes will take place at the Mahala Academic Campus. 
  • Female classes will take place at the Faculty of Languages and Translation (female section).

2nd Promotion Report for the 1440 Academic Year

Body: 

Due to the start of preparation for promotion exercises, we enclose herewith the names of male and female candidates up to 29/07/1440 AH. Candidates must bring the following documents with direct supervision by the employee's office manager:

  1. A copy of the ID card or family card;
  2. A copy of the last academic qualification obtained by the candidate;
  3. A copy of the academic record for those who have more than thirty hours of study;
  4. A copy of the job performance evaluation for the last two years (1438-39 AH using the new form);
  5. A copy of any half-year training course attended in the last four years;
  6. A copy of any course attended at the Institute of Public Administration from the date of prior promotion;
  7. Completing the attached commitment taking into consideration choosing the wished list of promotion departments. No application will be regarded if this point missed;
  8. Completing the attached promotion form.
  9. All applications should be sent to the General Administration of Human Resources Operations (Promotion Section) in one file attached with all requests by each department.

The application deadline is 16/05/1440 AH. The department will not consider any request after this date.

Admissions to Graduate Programs for the 1441 Academic Year

Body: 

The Deanship of Graduate Studies at King Khalid University is pleased to announce the beginning of admissions to join available graduate programs for the next academic year.

Submission of applications will be available through the electronic portal www.kku.edu.sa. It will begin on Sunday 14/05/1440 AH and end on Saturday 27/05/1440 AH in accord with the conditions as follows:

Please Note:

University lecturers and teachers who wish to join the graduate programs (graduate and doctorate) and meet the admission requirements should apply through the electronic portal.
Admission to graduate programs that include fees will be announced in the near future.

2nd Semester Schedule Delivery 1439-40

Body: 

Dates for 2nd Semester Registration and Handling 1439-40

The Deanship of Admissions and Registration is pleased to announce the registration and handling process for the 2nd semester of the 1439-40 academic year in accord with the following dates:

Students who are expected to graduate (1436 AH batch and less including internal visitor students) will be

from 27/04/1440 AH to 28/04/1440 AH.

  Other students including internal visitor students will be

from 29/04/1440 AH to 02/05/1440 AH.

  Requests through the Tawasol service (adding or dropping a course) will begin on

03/05/1440 AH and end on 05/05/1440 AH.

  Receiving external visitor students' requests will be

from 30/04/1440 AH to 03/05/1440 AH.

  Visitor students to another university will be

from 01/03/1440 AH to 04/05/1440 AH.

  Internal change and changing specialization from one college to another will be 

from 23/04/1440 AH to 26/04/1440 AH.

  External change including transferring from another university to King Khalid University will be 

from 14/03/1440 AH to 25/04/1440 AH.

Student Scientific Forum for Graduate Studies

Body: 

The Deanship of Graduate Studies is pleased to invite all graduate and postgraduate students to participate in the Graduate Studies Scientific Forum which will be held in Jumādā Al-Awwal. Participants are instructed to please note the following:

  • Participating with a research poster (150 words) Arabic or English, (The abstract must be attached in word file).
  • Participating in the scientific symposium entitled 'Graduate Studies and the Kingdom Vision 2030', (The student CV, title, angle and summary of participation must be attached in one file).
  • Participating in a training workshop (The student CV and the proposed workshop information and topics must be attached in one file).

The deadline for submission is 20/05/1440 AH.
