History of Islamic studies program


Create section 1418 and outputs the future teachers and prepare them academically and educationally and then was added in 1428 to restructure the King Khalid University College of Education as one of  the sections was transferred to the department in the College of Arts and Sciences in 1432- 1433 H.It aims to prepare specialist in Islamic studies, knowing that 62 courses is taught spread over eight semesters.

Islamic studies program aims to prepare the students scientifically and culturally  by offering a number of courses to help students to acquire a set of scientific knowledge and the consolidation of the principles of Islamic subjects and the formation of committed and distinguished scientific profile in the deep and comprehensive understanding of the Holy Quran and Sunnah and rulings derived from them
