Opened the King Khalid University, Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, activities of the First Scientific Forum of Colleges of Arts and Sciences for boys and girls, which is organized by the Vice President of the girls' colleges represented in the College of Arts and Sciences in Khamis Mushayt, which lasted for two days Wednesday 14 \ 6 \ 1437 AH, Thursday 15 \ 6 \ 1437 ceremony Central terraced university for men and Theater Sciences Faculty for Girls Bobha- King Abdullah road for women.
Through Dr. Daoud sincere thanks to the agent for the university women's colleges to adopt the idea of Dr. Abu urgent purchase of Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences in Khamis Mushayt complex one proposed this event which Twsal academic work at the university.
He added that this event is the first of its kind in the universities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as between it should be proud of all of the management and the faculties and departments implementing such a forum because it will be channeled God willing, in the university's interest and professors will be reflected on our students and the students levels.
While the Chairperson of the Scientific Committee of the forum, the Deputy Dean of Graduate Studies, Dr. Areej Mustafa that the establishment of this forum, which brings together a group of scholars, researchers and faculty members in a specialized English language, computer science and information systems was the belief of the university administration of the importance of these scientific forums and its role in the development and improvement of the educational process and keen to progress the level of scientific research.
Forum 24 feet in search of research participation through four scientific sessions, in addition to the six lectures, and nearly 40 scientific research in the form of posters.
And it included several topics concerned with recent modern in the development and strategies of the English language and computer science curricula and information systems in methods of language teaching.
