Coinciding with the International Day of Quality, the College of Science and Arts in Khamis Mushait (King Khalid University) represented by the Academic Development and Quality Unit and the Community Service Unit organized a training course entitled (Total Quality in University Education). The program was organized by Dr. Rehab Babiker; thevice dean for academic development and qualityand the head of the community service unit, andMs. Noura Abdel Aziz Al-Shahrani; thecommunity service coordinator at the computer department. The program was on Wednesday, 3/25/1442 at 7:00 pm on the Zoom platform, and presented by Dr. Mai Aldasoq, the consultantat the Development and Quality unitat King Khalid Universityand professorat the department of public health, college of applied medical sciences, khamis mushayt.
The most important outcomes of the program were the following: Defining quality and its objectives, as well as clarifying the overall quality in our Arab and Islamic culture.
Demonstrate the overall quality standards and the required leadership capabilities in the university and the required characteristics
and practices. To identify the competencies of the university professor from the perspective of total quality and the role of the universitystudent from the perspective of quality and the relationship of the college with the local community.
The program was attended by a group of female employees of the College of Science and Arts in Khamis Mushaytand other faculties at King Khalid University, and the program included presentations that added to the value the program. The programends with interventions, comments, questions and discussions of the honorable attendees. This program came under the university’s aim of spreading the culture of quality and the college’s contribution in supporting the awareness concepts of quality and its standards for female employees.
