The Academic Development and Quality Unit, in cooperation with the Community Service Unit at the College of Science and Arts in Khamis Mushayt (King Khalid University), organized a training course entitled (Teaching with Wisdom). The training course was presented by Dr. Salha Ahmed Asiri; the assistant professor of Learning Psychology, College of Education, King Khalid University.
The training course was organized by Dr. Rehab Babiker Musa Ahmed; the vice dean for academic development and quality and head of the community service unit, and Ms. Nora Abdulaziz Al-Shahrani, community service coordinator in the computer department. The program was on Tuesday 3/3/1442 at seven in the evening via the Zoom platform.
The training course targeted faculty members.
Among the most important outcomes of the course is to make the attendeeslearn the concept of wisdom scientifically and philosophically, and identify the most important theories that explain wisdom as well as learning about methods of measuring wisdom and applying the development of methods of wisdom in teaching. The training course included a review of explanatory slides and mental maps that had a great impact on the outcomes of the course. The session was attended by a number of faculty members from the College of Science and Arts in Khamis Mushait and faculty members from other colleges of King Khalid University. The training course included at its end the questions session and discussions of the honorable attendees, moderated by Dr. Rehab Babiker. This training course came within the operational plan for implementing training and development programs for faculty members.
