The (Musk) Club for Student Activities at the College of Science and Arts in Khamis Mushait, in cooperation with the Vice Deanship of Student Affairs for female Student’s Affairs, organised the activity of the Walking Challenge: Let's walk

 Day: Tuesday

 Time: 8-12

 Venue : campus.

The challenge started from eight until twelve o'clock with the aim of achieving the largest number of steps during a school day, I started to record posts with their data and then return at the end of time and monitor the broken steps and determine the top three centers among them and the winners got a set of healthy snacks in addition to purchase cards From the Jarir Bookstore, some publications containing simple exercise methods and multiple
methods for preparing detox have also been published, as have some publications that contain the indication of craving for some foods and what are the nutritional elements associated with them, and some healthy foods have been distributed.
The club also presented the challenge of searching for the treasure, as it hid gifts in several places at the university, and gave the students papers that contained hints at the places of the gifts.

 

Source: KKU - Media Center The Administrative Development Department at King Khalid University, held a number of training courses and programs targeting university members, during the first semester of 1442 AH, a number of training courses were held in coordination with the Institute of Public Administration and the General Court of Audit.  The Dean of Human Resources Deanship Dr. Ali Al Olayani, explained that these training courses and programs are part of the Deanship's efforts to enhance the work performance of university members, to achieve the Deanship's mission of efficient and innovative management and development of human resources, by investing distinguished capabilities, in line with best practices. On his part, the Director of the Administrative Development Department, Prof. Ali bin Saleh Al Dumaih, said that an estimate of 2188 university members benefited from these training courses. These training courses are important to develop the skills and potentials of university employees in areas that include, risk management assessment, professional skills in work procedures, monitoring skills, content analysis in social networks, facility management, leadership skills, achieving excellence in strategies implementation in universities, improving the financial performance during crises, change management, risk-based audit, performance control, governmental accounting, practicing internal auditing in government agencies.

On a unique couch, the Collage of since and Art in khamis Mushait represented in the unit of activities has activated a unique imitative entitled as " inspiring initiative" during which a group of pioneers have been hosted. The meeting was arranged by (Misk club) in the college through Zoom platform, to catch with the pioneers and reveal the secret of their inspiration . The meeting started by a presentation delivered by the host: Jamilah Muhammed Majari ,a holder of Bachelor Degree of Administrative Sciences and a founder of (Tuba Cafe). she presented the secret of her success , obstacles she confronted and how did she overcome such difficulties. Miss Worowd Al-Qahtani, a graduate of K.K.U specialized in computer science(information system) was the second host. She is a pioneer in the business field, owner of (ward beauty salon) and was nominated by the committee of business women in A sir Region)> The meeting was cocluded by hosting one of the college's graduates from the Computer Science Department , Suzan Al-Qahtani. She was the winner of Distinguished Student Excellent Award as well as a first place in scientific excellence for batch 1439 AH. She holds an honor degree (5\5 GPA.). The session was moderated with great professionalism, Dr. Mona Abdullah from the department of Islamic Studies. It was attended by a distinguished group of faculty member who shared some notes and fruitful interventions.
Source: King Khalid University, Media Center The E-learning Deanship at King Khalid University, continues to provide its electronic services, according to the deanship’s statistics the semester ’s fourteen week showed  the recording of 4317 virtual  sessions and 12264 virtual lectures. On his part  the  Dean of E-Learning at the University, Dr. Naif Jabali, explained that the Deanship held two virtual symposiums, of which the number of beneficiaries reached 505, in addition to providing two training courses that benefited 162 persons. It is worth noting, that  during the fourteen  week the deanship also provided technical support services represented in 208  phone calls , 239 through WhatsApp, 42 through the deanship’s office, 218 Zoom and Live Chat , 16 e-mails, which can be calculated as 71%  faculty member support and 29%  student  support.
Source: KKU - Media Center His Excellency the University President, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Allah Al Solami, met in his office with, Prof. Abdullah bin Hussein Al Qadhi, the Vice President for Studies, Development and Community Service Deanship at IAU. The meeting was organized by the Deanship of Academic Development and Quality at King Khalid University. The meeting discussed IAU’s long-term, successful experience with the decision support unit (DSU), which provides accurate information, by collecting, analyzing, processing and presenting data in forms of numbers and charts, to help decision-makers in the University to make the proper decision in the proper time, it also provides a group of appropriate alternative decisions. Al Solami explained that the aim of the meeting is to cooperate and exchange experiences with Saudi Universities, to ensure a constant development of Saudi universities and to enhance their chance of achieving leadership excellence, he also praised IAU’s experience with the Decision Support Unit, assuring that decisions must not be based on intuition, but on some factual, updated, analyzed and accurate data. On his part, Eng. Abdulrahman bin Mohammed, said that Decision Support Unit provides data dispersion prevention system, by setting unified standard data for the university, and analyzing every other data accordingly, he also presented some samples from the University website. At the end of the meeting, the University Vice President of Quality and Development Prof. Marzin Al-shahrani, stressed the importance of providing DSU, assuring that it will contribute to the growth of King Khalid University in many areas.
