  Source: King Khalid University Media Center King Khalid University  and the Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf) signed a memorandum of cooperation to support the training  and employment of university  graduates and students. The memorandum addressed the need of align   training programs  with the reality of the  labor market , through  programs such as  Career Guidance Program, Career Development and Guidance (Sobol),  Tamher   Training Program , the national electronic training platform “Doroob” and the National Labor Observatory. His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Dr. Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Sulami, and the Director General of the Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf) Turki bin Abdullah Al-Jaweni, also signed a memorandum of remote cooperation and which addressed the following : - Activating the vocational guidance program through workshops in areas of professional development. - Holding remote guidance sessions, and measuring their impact on the target groups. - Providing university students with the knowledge and skills necessary to join the labor market through the Tamher program. - Supporting university students to benefit from the Doroob program in accordance with the approved rules, conditions and mechanism of the program, by holding remote  and interactive training sessions in various fields and specializations. - Making university data available to the National Labor Observatory as well as working to process it and link it with market data. According to the memorandum, it was agreed to form a team of  specialists from the two parties to activate the areas of cooperation, provided that the team would provide the representatives of the two parties with unified periodic reports showing the progress of work and the stages of implementation.

  Source: King Khalid University media center His Excellency King Khalid University Prof. Faleh bin Rajallah Al Solami, inaugurated  the "Second International  Mathematics and its Applications Conference , which is organized by the Mathematics Department at the College of Science and is to held remotely for a period of  two days. During the launching ceremony, His Excellency the President of the University explained the importance of organizing and holding scientific conferences in various fields  for the university’s progress and development in the fields of scientific research.  He also stressed  the University’s keenness to organize  a series of conferences in the field of mathematics, after the success of the first  conference, and the increasing number of participants in the second edition. The conference is to include the participation of a group of mathematics experts  from distinguished universities in the fields of mathematics from the United States of America, India and Portugal, in addition to Arab and local universities. On her part Dr. Mahra Abdullah Zayed, a member in the  scientific committee of the conference, explained  that 18 papers  were selected to be presented in the conference lectures, pointing out that the conference has received great attention from  specialists in the field of mathematics around the world. She thanked his Excellency the university president for his  support  and  follow-up on all matters concerning the conference. It is worth noting,  that the Mathematics Department has witnessed remarkable development in terms of increasing the number of papers published.

  Source: King Khalid University Media Center His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Solami, recently sponsored a meeting to “Align  the  Plans and Programs in the Three-Semester System with the Human Capacity Development Program and Asir development  Strategy. The meeting was  organized by the University agency Academic Affairs and  was moderated by the General Supervisor of the Office of the Transition to the Three-Semester System at the University, Dr. Suad Al-Qahtani. The meeting included a speech by the Vice President  of  Academic Affairs, Prof. Saad bin Muhammad bin Dajam, in which he affirmed the university’s keenness to take into account the alignment of its plans and programs with the human capacity development program and the strategy of the Asir , noting that this requires enhancing skills and intensifying training and communication. Al Dajam  reviewed a number of  proposals  in terms of alignment with the strategy of developing  Asir region, including programs in tourism, hospitality, culture, arts, architecture, agriculture, livestock, marine sports and nature. The meeting also included a talk on the axis of "educational programs and curricula" presented by the General Supervisor of the Curriculum and Plans Unit, Dr. Adwaa Al-Ahmari, and another talk on the axis of "Training and Vocational Guidance" presented by the supervisor of the Student Training Unit, Dr. Mona Al-Shehri. It is worth noting, that  the meeting witnessed the presence of a number of officials and employees from the university.

  Source: King Khalid University Media Center His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Dr. Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Solami, recently launched the "Imtiaz" platform, aimed to offer  services for  the students of the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Abha, in the presence of the University's Vice president of Academic Affairs, Professor Dr. Saad bin Muhammad bin Dajam. The Dean of the College, Dr. Majid Al Fae’, explained that the platform aims to provide a set of services, most prominent of which are the internship  nomination. He added the platform was built in cooperation between the General Administration of Information Technology and the College of Medical Sciences. Al Fae’ said   that the platform provides many services to all college students during their internship program , most notably leave requests, transfers, and postponements, as well as internal and external inquiries. In addition to archiving alumni data, the platform also contribute to automating the nomination processes according to  information received from the "Academia" system. The meeting was attended by college representatives and officials from  relevant authorities at the university.

Source: King Khalid University Media Center His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof.  Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Solami, received in his office this morning the  General  Director of the Real Estate Authority branch in  Asir region, Mr. Dhafer bin Abdullah Al-Shehri and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, the two parties discussed means of cooperation and a number  of common  issues between the two parties. The meeting was attended by the University's Vice president, Prof.  Muhammad Al-Behairi, and the Director of the University's Property Department, Muhammad Al-Qarni.
