Plagiarism

The Musk Club of the Faculty of Science and Arts in Al-Khamis in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs for female students' affairs organized a lecture titled "plagiarism " in hall 1/1/7 on Wednesday, 6/7/1440 from 8 am to 9 am o’clock . The program was implemented by the Department of Islamic Studies supervised by Dr. Mona Abdullah the Dr.Suad Nour El Din gave the lecture and the target group was the graduates of the epartment.
The lecture covered the following topics:
• Definition of scientific theft.
• Why is scientific theft a dishonesty?
• What are the types of scientific theft.
• How to discover scientific theft.
• How to avoid scientific theft.
The attendance was approximately 50 female students and some faculty members

As A part of the "Good Will" initiative launched by His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, The Governor of Assir Region, the College of Science and Arts concluded its training programs  that were set for the children and visitors of Aseer region during the period from 18-22 /11 / 1440H the training courses included different topics and areas like the skills of dealing with others, educational steps through Luqman's teachings for his son, ways of setting goals and prioritizing, having a positive personality, and creative thinking. On the other part, the Dean of the college of Science and Arts in Khamis Mushait, Dr. Sarra Abdullah Abu Malha, stressed and emphasized on the University's keenness to organize training and educational programs to polish the skills of the beneficiaries of the region and its visitors. She concluded by thanking His Excellency the Rector of the university for his continuous support .    
  Source: King Khalid University - Media Center King Khalid University represented by the Deanship of Admission announced on Sunday the final results to the university first  admission stage for the academic year 1441Ah which  applied  to the conditions, requirements and availability of fields and specialties the university offers.  The Dean of Admission Dr. Abdul-Mohsen Al-Qarni said: more than 10 thousand students were accepted in the first admission stage. He  stressed  that  all applicants must  enter the admission site to confirm acceptance and for information on admission inquiries, pointing that in the case of  lack of confirmation the  students is dropped leaving an opening spot for a new student to apply in the admission second stage.  Al Qarni explained that admission to the university is based on the students GPA and desired filed of study, adding that the admission process is a transparent process that is fully online and does not include any human interference.   He pointed, that the students who were not accepted in the first admission stage , are to join the second admission stage which will be announced on 9-11-1440 , which will apply to the available seats,  conditions and requirement. 
  Source: King Khalid University - Media Center Within the university's framework to activate partnerships with the armed forces to develop human capital and improving employee productivity, a delegation from King Khalid University visited the General Directorate of Civil Defense in Asir region. In attendance were Vice Rector for Academic Development and Quality, Dr. Merzin Al-Shahrani, Dean of Community Service and Continuing Education, Dr. Omar Alwan Ageel, and Vice Dean of Community Service and Continuing Education, Dr. Yaseer Al-Mudath. During the meeting, the delegation met with the Asir Region Director of the General Directorate of Civil Defense, Major General Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Qasi, and a number of civil defense employees. Of noteworthy mention, they discussed cooperation and partnership opportunities in the field of training, awareness and community service initiatives.
Source: King Khalid University - Media Center The Deanship of Student Affairs, in collaboration with the College of Business, the College of Engineering, and the College of Medicine launched the Scientific Tutoring Class Program during the second semester of the 1439-40 AH academic year. Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Abdullah Al-Atheed, explained that the program is an academic enrichment initiative designed to boost academic achievement. Dean Al-Atheed highlighted that operations during the second semester were characterized be efficiency due in large part to the small-scale pilot project delivered during the first semester. Vice Dean of Student Affairs for Cultural and Social Activities, Dr. Yahya Kanai, explained that these specialized courses were offered by distinguished students under the supervision of the Deanship of Student Affairs and the participating colleges. Of noteworthy mention, a total of 167 students benefited from the program. Dean Al-Atheed thanked King Khalid University Rector, His Excellency Prof. Falleh Al-Solamy, and Vice Rector of Academic Affairs, Dr. Saad Bin Du'ajim, for their enthusiastic support and encouragement, noting that the participating colleges played a vital role in making this initiative a success.
  Source: King Khalid University - Media Center King Khalid University will host all official spokespersons of Saudi universities in a forum titled "Saudi Universities Spokespersons: Challenges and Ambitions" on the first and second of Safar 1441 AH. King Khalid University Rector, His Excellency Prof. Falleh Al-Solamy, explained that the forum is a result of the university's keenness to provide an opportunity for national spokespersons to exchange views, expertise, and the channels used in representing their respective institutions. His Excellency Rector Al-Solamy also added that the forum will discuss a number of topics alongside nationally renowned media figures that will include: Identifying Relevant Information; The Relationship Between and Among Spokespersons and the Media.
