Afaaq Newspaper has issued a survey related to university education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which was approved by the Supreme Council on 4/6/1432 AH. The implementation of the plan requires measuring a number of key indicators, most importantly, the level of student satisfaction in regards to the services provided to them, in addition to the teaching methods, learning, evaluation, and the levels of satisfaction with the infrastructure. We look forward to your contribution towards the successful implementation of the plan through active participation in the completion of this questionnaire. Announcement of the Start of Bachelor Programs External Scholarships Submission Period for the Academic Year 1439/1440 AH 

The General Administration of Scholarships at King Khalid University is announcing the beginning of receiving external scholarship applications for prospective international students in numerous Bachelor programs for the academic year 1439/1440 AH. You can apply through the electronic portal on this link (click here) which will start on Sunday 5/4/1439 AH lasting to Sunday 20/4/1439 AH. 

Admissions Requirements:

  1. The applicant must hold a High School Diploma or its equivalent (duly certified and translated into Arabic).
  2. The applicant has not received another scholarship from one of the educational institutions in the Kingdom.
  3. The applicant must hold a valid passport.
  4. The age of the applicant must not be less than 17 years and not more than 25 years.
  5. The applicant must be fit for duty.
  6. All documents need to be certified by the competent authorities in the applicant's country as well as the Saudi Embassy and the Saudi Cultural Centers in the applicant's country. If there is no Saudi embassy in the country of the applicant, he may authenticate documents from the nearest Saudi embassy in his/her neighboring country.
  7. The applicant must have a police clearance certificate from his country.
  8. The applicant must have two recommendation letters from recognized institutions or well-known figures from his country.
  9. The applicant should not have been terminated previously from any of educational institution in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  10. The applicant must pass the medical examination determined by the regulations and instructions after arriving in the Kingdom.
  11. The applicant must not be presently residing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in any form.

Documents to be submitted electronically to apply for study with an external scholarship:

  1. A copy of the high school certificate.
  2. A copy of a valid passport.
  3. Recommendation letters.

General Requirements:

  1. Applicants must apply to the Kingdom's Residence Regulations, as well as the university regulations and instructions.
  2. Any application that does not meet the required conditions and documents will be excluded.
  3. The information provided electronically by the applicant must have valid documents for verification purposes.
  4. The applicant must bring a certified translation of all documents (along with original).
  5. The applicant is responsible for maintaining the application number granted to him upon completion of the application for entry, follow-up, and amendments during the application period.
  6. Application for admission to the university and approval electronically does not mean final acceptance. In the case of final admission, the applicant is not entitled to transfer from one university to another.
  7. The University determines the college and specialization of the student according to available seats and an interview with the student. Prospective student's wishes will be taken into consideration.

1. I acknowledge that all the information provided in my application is valid.

2. I pledge to attend the University on time, after the declaration of the final admission notice, and in case of delay, my right to the scholarship will be canceled.

3. I pledge to bring all the required certificates and documents in case I am selected in the university.

Announcement of the Start of Admissions to Graduate Programs in the Academic Year 1438/1439 AH

The Deanship of Graduate Studies at King Khalid University announces the beginning of admissions to join available graduate programs for the next academic year 1439–1440 AH.

Announcement of external transfer dates for the second semester of the year 1439-1440

Application deadline:

From 25-4-1439 AH until 1-5-1439
Terms of Application:

  • ​​The applicant must be a Saudi or a Saudi mother
  • End the preparatory year (if any), and identify the corresponding specialization between students and students according to their cumulative rates.
  • All applications for physical energy are subject to the department and the differentiation between the students according to their cumulative rates.
  • The student or student must a cumulative average of at least two semesters and no more than four semesters.
  • Fully adhering to the time and place specified for conversion.
  • Graduation from high school should not exceed 5 years.
  • The transfer from the private colleges requires that the admission rate for the student or student is equal to that of the university for the year of graduation from the secondary school.

In case of acceptance:
When comparing external materials, it is considered to pass only materials and not calculated in the average.

Under the patronage of His Royal Highness, Governor of the Asir Region, Prince Faisal bin Khalid, the University is going to hold the 14th Information and Book Fair, (1439 AH /2017 AD). It will be in the period between 20 to 29/1/1439 AH, from 10 am to 2 pm, and it will recommence daily from 4 pm to 10 pm, at the Sultan Center, in Khamis Mushait.

The Deanship of Graduate Studies is announcing the start of the Post-Graduate General Aptitude Test since most doctoral, and master programs in the university require the test as an essential condition for admission. As a result, the Deanship would like to inform prospective students who wish to apply for one of the post-graduate programs to complete the test and to benefit from the computerized version of the test, so they can apply and enter the admission differentiation which will be announced in the coming weeks.
