The Deanship of Graduate Studies announced that on Thursday, 23/12 / 1438H, the schedules of the Master's and PhD students in the university who are committed to the study plan were broadcast and they were notified by text messages.

The Deanship explained the importance of direct all students and students from the beginning of the academic year 1438/1439 AH, calling special cases of students, such as those who have been re-registered after the broadcast of tables and referrals to the university to the need to communicate with faculty registrars to record their schedules no later than the end of the day on Thursday 1 / 1 / 1439H so as not to be considered among students who dropped out of study.

The Deanship confirmed the readiness of the tables, stressing that in coordination with the colleges, at the end of last academic year, the people of the study of all the courses and linking them to the names of professors who will be teaching these courses. Also will be in coordination with the colleges to establish an introductory meeting in each college for students accepted for the current academic year.

Under the patronage of His Excellency, University Rector, Prof. Dr. Faleh bin Raja Allah Al Solamy, the General Directorate of University Relations will hold a function to exchange belated Eid Al ِAdha greetings on 19/12/1438 AH God willing. The function will be held at the Central Administration Building of the University in Abha.

The University, represented by the Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education, announces the commencement of admission to the applied diplomas for the first semester of the academic year 1438/1439 AH for male and female students. The certificates are approved and classified by the Ministry of Civil Service. Diplomas include both applied programming disciplines and desk management for a one-year course, and also include Information Systems Programming Specialization for two years of study.
The registration is done by paying the admission fees on the account of the Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education at Bank Albilad. The name of the student must be mentioned in full in the applicant's data and civil register. The deposit is not accepted by ATM or Internet. (2) to fill out the registration form, and to bring a copy of the status card and the secondary school certificate.

Announcement of Accepted Names in the Executive Business Administration Program at King Khalid University for the academic year 1438/1439 AH​

The Deanship of Graduate Studies at King Khalid University is pleased to announce the names of admissions and admissions in the Executive MBA Program for the next academic year 1438-1439H.

Start of inside scholarship requests for (non-Saudi) applicants.

The Deanship of Registration and Admissions has announced the beginning of receiving (inside) scholarships requests for non-Saudi applicants through the Deanship's electronic portal. The portal will be accessible on Saturday 25 / 11 / 1438 AH and will continue until 22 / 12 / 1438 AH according to the following conditions:

  1. The applicant must not exceed five years after his / her graduation. 
  2. Admission will depend on the availability of spaces in the colleges and the differentiation between applicants will be according to the following admission criteria:
  • The applicant must not have received a scholarship from other educational institutions in the Kingdom.
  • The age of the applicant should not exceed 25 years for bachelor and diploma programs.
  • The applicant must pass General Aptitude Test (GAT) and Educational Achievement Test (EAT).
  • Female applicants must be accompanied by a male guardian (Mahram) who should have a valid residence permit (Iqama).
  • The applicant must be medically fit.
  • This admission includes only a study seat.

Admission Procedures:

For inside scholarships, the applicant must make an e-request in which he/she uploads a copy of their secondary school certificate and a copy of their residence permit (Iqama). Lastly, they should save the request number.

Applicants can review both the request number and admission through the e-portal of the deanship.

KKUx Platform Offering Specific Skill Courses during the Summer
The e-Learning Deanship at King Khalid University is proud to announce that it has launched the KKUx platform. The KKUx platform is an integral part of university-wide initiatives driven by Vision 2030. Open learning is a central component of KKUx which serves to bolster specific objectives of Vision 2030 in regards to providing learning opportunities to acquire the necessary skills and competencies driving the labor market. The main aim of the platform is to contribute effectively in providing essential skills in the form of high global quality electronic content for future jobs.
This initiative is considered the first of its kind at the level of Saudi universities in terms of focusing on 'skills of the future.' It is also based on Vision 2030's theme of A Thriving Economy and its subtheme of Learning for Working. The skills and competencies of our young men and women are an important asset which KKUx aims to improve.
The KKUx platform at King Khalid University will hold the three specific skill courses as follows:
"The Basics of Establishing New Companies" in the period starting from 24/7/2017 to 24/8/2017
"Road to IELTS" in the period starting from 24/7/2017 to 24/8/2017
"Design Thinking" " in the period starting from 1/10/2017 to 1/11/2017

Admission Conditions:

  • The applicant must be a Saudi.
  • The applicant must have a National Identity (NI).
  • The applicant must not have been dismissed academically or disciplinarily from King Khalid University or any other Saudi university.
  • The secondary school cumulative grade point average of the applicant who wishes to apply for health colleges must be at least 90%. He/she also must be a graduate of the same year.
  • The applicant must not exceed more than five years from the day of his/her secondary school graduation.

Registration Time:

The applicant can apply for admission starting from 10/10/1438 AH up to 10/11/1438 AH.

Registration and Admission Procedures:

  • Go to registration and admission website (click here).
  • Confirm the national identity number. 
  • Fill the information as clarified in the website.
  • Register the mobile number carefully because it will be the means of communication with you.
  • Select the specializations orderly and respectively according to your priorities.
  • The applicant's certificate data and tests of the national center for assessment (Qiyas) will be taken from the concerned bodies directly. 

Dates of Nomination:

  • The First Batch including students with 80% to 100% percentage will be on 15/11/1438 AH.
  • The Second Batch including students with 75% to 100% average will be on 18/11/1438 AH.
  • The Third Batch will be on 22/11/1438 AH according to the available seats.

Note that:

  • Selections of specializations will appear according to the applicant's average. The nomination will depend on the applicants' averages and available seats.
  • The applicants should view and respond to the request with either approval or refusal within 48 hours from the nomination dates.
  • After approving the nominated request (specialization), the student will receive a message including the academic number within 48 hours.  
  • In case the applicant refuses the nominated specialization, his/her right of it will no longer apply. Then, he/she will select between applying to the next level or withdrawing from the admission. 

The nomination is according to the eligible degree percentage and measured degree percentage, and they are counted as follows:

  Eligible Degree percentage: 30% Cumulative average, 30% Aptitude test, and 40% Scholastic achievement admission test.

  Measured degree percentage: 50% Cumulative average, 50% Aptitude test (for theoretical specializations).

In case the student does not go the website and neither approves or refuses the nominated specialization, his/her admission application will be withdrawn.

Terms of application

     The applicant must be a Saudi or a Saudi mother

     End the preparatory year (if any) and identify the corresponding specialization between students according to their cumulative rates

     All applications for physical energy are subject to the department and the differentiation between the students according to their cumulative rates

     The student must have a cumulative average of at least two semesters and no more than four semesters

     Fully adhering to the time and place specified for conversion

     Graduation from high school should not exceed 5 years

     The transfer from the private colleges requires that the admission rate for the student is equal to that of the university for the year of graduation from the secondary school
